How do you use washable tampons?
Roll up the tampon. Then wrap the string around the tampon. If desired, you can also secure the cord with a simple overhand knot so that the tampon remains a sturdy roll. Insert the tampon as you would with a disposable tampon. Replace the tampon every 4-5 hours or when it is saturated. It is preferable to rinse the tampon after use and then keep it in a wet bag until you start washing. You can also choose to put them in a wet bag immediately after use and pre-rinse with the washing machine when it is time for laundry. However, this does increase the chance of stains.

Washing instructions
Wash the tampons the first time you use them. Wash the tampons in the washing machine at 60-90 ° C. Then they can be put in the dryer. Wash the tampons in a laundry net with your other laundry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. This reduces the absorbency of the tampons.

Note: 100% cotton tampons can also cause TSS (toxic shock syndrome), just like disposable tampons. Replace them often enough and watch for the symptoms of TSS. Do not wear the tampons for longer than 5-6 hours to reduce the risk of TSS.
