    What is Sol de Ibiza?

Sol de Ibiza founder Allessandro has always had a passion for water, which is why he decided to move to Ibiza in 2015. During his many swimming trips, he became increasingly annoyed by the chemical smell of many sunscreens, which seriously reduced the quality of the water. When a friend of Alessandro's came up with the idea of making a natural sunscreen, he didn't have to think twice. The result is Sol de Ibiza, a sunscreen free of chemicals, which is better for the skin, but also the sea!

    Zero waste

Zero-waste is a lifestyle that focuses on producing zero waste. The most important step towards this lifestyle is to replace disposable products with sustainable substitutes. Sol de Ibiza provides a zero-waste product, in which no plastics are used for the packaging. Sol de Ibiza has also joined the 1% for the planet initiative. Since 2019, 1% of the turnover has gone to the Ibiza Preservation Fund, which focuses on the preservation of the beautiful nature of Ibiza.

    The sunscreen

Sol de Ibiza's eco sunscreen consists of a carefully selected combination of responsible ingredients, which together nourish and hydrate your skin, while protecting you from harmful UVA and UVB radiation. The sunscreen contains healthy ingredients such as coconut oil, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, aloe vera and calendula. The product is suitable for sensitive skin and water resistant for up to 40 minutes. The sunscreen is also hypoallergenic and suitable for children.
