    What is ImseVimse?

    ImseVimse is a Swedish brand that specializes in textile clothing and personal care and hygiene products. The company was founded about 30 years ago (1988) in the town of Visby, by Marie Walleberg. The inspiration for the foundation was the need for diapers that relieved the diaper rash. By switching to cloth diapers, the rash quickly disappeared. Marie Walleberg then decided to create an innovative brand for cotton, reusable diapers. Examples of products that have been added to the collection over time:

    • Washable sanitary napkin
    • Washable swim diapers
    • Reusable tampons
    • UV protective garments.

    The target group

    The Swedish brand focuses mainly on young women with children. It is a modern company that values comfort and convenience. For this reason, continuous innovation is being done to make the products even better match the wishes of young mothers and their babies and toddlers. In addition to offering products, ImseVimse focuses on providing information through useful blogs. It provides tips on potty training for toddlers, breastfeeding and much more.

    Sustainability

    At ImseVimse, sustainability and environmental awareness are paramount. This is reflected in a number of different spearheads that the Swedish brand has.

    • No disposable products: everything is washable and reusable
    • Only ecologically responsible products. For example, the cotton products are made from 100% organic cotton (Organic Cotton quality mark)
    • No added substances that can cause skin irritation
    • Sustainable and nature-friendly transport of products: production takes place in Turkey and Latvia to keep the transport distances short. Transport takes place by land and not by plane!
    • Transport from the warehouse to clients takes place over land. Transporter DHL has an emission calculator. All clients who receive their order via DHL, can participate in an individual report about the ecological foodprint of transport and logistics. The calculator calculates the transport related emission and helps ours clients in understanding and reducing the impact on the environment. 
    • The local office in Visby is completely driven by energy from the sun, wind and water. Employees travel only if necessary and do this in a sustainable way. 
    • The last important target of this company is to cut off the usage of plactics and to use recycled products.
