What is Georganics?

Georganics is a British brand that emerged in 2014 from a very concrete problem. Every year, approximately 230,000 tonnes of plastic end up in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, we produce about 3,000 tonnes of toothpaste tube waste worldwide annually, and approximately 5 billion toothbrushes end up in landfills.

Particularly distressing: the plastic toothpaste tubes are not recyclable because they consist of a mix of materials. Because everyone brushes their teeth, Georganics can make an impact there. That was the starting point.

How they approach it

When formulating, Georganics focuses on three things: effectiveness, sustainability, and transparency. Only natural materials are used, without chemicals: ethically sourced from suppliers in the UK and fully traceable.

The packaging is completely plastic-free and recyclable. Boxes are made of 100% biodegradable paper, printed with plant-based ink. Most products even come in glass jars that you can refill or reuse.

Georganics also offers a solution for materials that local recycling centers cannot process: a zero-to-landfill program. This aims to ensure that no waste ends up in landfills.
