What can I use these GTF waste bags for?

These biodegradable garbage bags are ideal as GTF waste bags. The following items can be thrown in the BioMat GFT bags:

• Vegetable and fruit scraps: peels, cores, leftover pieces of fruit and vegetables.
• Garden waste: grass clippings, leaves, branches, pruning waste, weeds, flowers and plants.
• Coffee grounds and tea bags: used coffee and old tea bags
• Eggshells: Clean and finely ground eggshells can be discarded.
• Food scraps: non-meat products, such as bread, pasta, rice, and leftovers from meals without oil or fat.
• Small amounts of sawdust and wood chips.

Tips:

Only add hot waste such as food scraps, coffee filters or tea bags to the organic waste bags after it has cooled.

Throw the garbage bags well closed (e.g. with a knot) in the waste bin. For the waste bin we have extra large container bags of 120L and 240 L.
