Discover the indispensable cleaning sponge: 100% compostable and made from plant material. An environmentally friendly alternative that can be used again and again without microplastic. Clean without causing damage.

Product description

This natural dishwashing sponge from CC Hansen is a sturdy, plant-based and environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional synthetic sponge.

The natural dishwashing sponge has many advantages:

  • 100% natural material, compostable
  • Can be used over and over again
  • Without microplastics

What's in it?

The natural dishwashing sponge is made of 100% vegetable material. The scrubbing side of the sponge is made from the loofah plant, also known as sponge cucumber. The soft side is made of cellulose, a vegetable material that has a high absorption capacity. The sponge is double-sided and therefore ideal for washing dishes and cleaning, for example. The rough side removes the most stubborn dirt. The soft side does not scratch and is suitable for all surfaces.

If you want to clean the dishwashing sponge, you can wash it at 60 degrees in the washing machine.

Why a natural dishwashing sponge?

Natural cellulose has a high absorption capacity and is therefore ideal as a cleaning sponge. The cellulose sponge does not leave scratches and can be used on any surface. Scrubbing removes stubborn dirt and grease laterally.
