Selenacare washable period underwear is a high-quality and sustainable alternative to disposable sanitary pads, tampons and menstrual cups. The SELENACARE Brazilian String looks like normal underwear but has integrated moisture-absorbing protection. This protection is based on the innovative multi-layer technology SELANAtec. The SELENACARE Brazilian string is especially for daily use.

What are the features of the SELANAtec technology and the washable period underwear?

  1. The first layer of the Brazilian String - which lies against the skin - absorbs liquids quickly and passes them on to the underlying layers so that there is no feeling of wetness. This layer is also provided with antibacterial protection.
  2. The subsequent layers are also highly absorbent and prevent unpleasant odours. In some models, a highly absorbent polyester core forms an additional layer.
  3. The underlying layer consists of a breathable protective membrane made of polyurethane. It ensures that the underwear is leak-proof.
  4. The outer layer of this Brazilian String is made of a skin-friendly fabric that is comfortable to wear. The fabric used depends on the product. Depending on the model, it is cotton or a combination of nylon and elastane.
  5. Despite the many layers, the fabric technology is very thin: less than four millimetres. SELENAtec therefore stands for pleasant wearing comfort and leak-proof protection.

How can you wash Brazilian period underwear?

After wearing, the period underwear should be rinsed in cold water, machine washed at 30 °C and air-dried.
