Many local authorities around the UK want you to Go Real, offering cash back schemes and other incentives to encourage you to switch to real nappies. Each council differs on what they offer, so we have listed some of these incentive schemes below.
This list is not exhaustive because Councils change how they do things on a regular basis, so we advise that you contact your local council if you're not sure. Just ask for the department that deals with waste and recycling.

Available Cash Back Schemes
A local Credit Union scheme operates in Anglesey, which is designed to help with the upfront cost of real nappies. More details can be found at www.realnappies-wales.org.uk
Bedfordshire Council offer a cash back scheme, that allows locals to claim £25 back when they spend over £50, either on real nappies or a real nappy laundry service.

Lanacashire Council offer £45 vouchers for one child under 18 months or £70 for two or more children under 18 months to go towards the cost of real nappies. This is something that can also be obtained while you're pregnant.
